Warranty Policy
KEYi Tech covers quality-related defects on eligible products sold directly by KEYi Tech or authorized resellers for 1 year from the delivery date.
What Is Covered
The warranty applies to quality-related defects on eligible products purchased directly from KEYi Tech or through authorized resellers.
For approved claims, we may repair the product first. If repair is not possible, we may replace it with a refurbished or new product of equal value.
What Is Not Covered
- Products without sufficient proof of purchase.
- Lost, stolen, expired, refunded, or free items.
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, water, extreme temperatures, outside sources, or unauthorized repairs.
- Products purchased from unauthorized resellers or devices disassembled by the user.
Buyer-Paid Return Situations
- Returns for reasons other than a confirmed defect.
- Claims made outside the original country of purchase or shipment destination.
- Accidental returns, personal items, or unauthorized returns outside the approved process.
- Items reported as defective but found to be functioning normally after inspection.
Claim Process
- Contact support during the warranty period and describe the issue clearly.
- Provide proof of purchase, the product serial number, and photos or videos of the defect when requested.
- In some cases, the product must be returned for inspection before repair or replacement is approved.
Timing and Replacement Terms
Warranty claims expire 90 days after opening a claim, or when the original warranty period ends, whichever is longer.
Replacement products continue under the original warranty period or for 3 months after replacement, whichever is longer.
After a returned item is received, inspection normally takes up to 14 business days. Repair or replacement may take another 5 to 7 business days.
Proof of Purchase
- Order number from a KEYi Tech or KEYi Robot online purchase.
- Sales invoice or dated receipt from an authorized reseller.
- Additional documentation may be requested to verify payment or original shipment details.
